Piano Lessons Noor Graat

I have been taking piano lessons with Noor for more than four years and I’m still very happy with it. Her tips are clear and really help you improve. The atmosphere during the lessons is always pleasant, which makes me look forward to going every week. I would definitely recommend piano lessons with Noor.

I originally started piano lessons with Noor in the hope that my 5-year-old daughter would be inspired by it. And it worked! Now, 25 years later, my daughter still plays and I am still taking lessons with Noor myself – with great pleasure! I often don’t have enough time to practice properly, so we adjust our ambitions. Sometimes I get stuck and Noor always knows exactly the right push I need. Through piano lessons I discovered the great joy of making music myself.

Noor Graat is a very skilled piano teacher. With calmness and clear explanations, you go through the process of learning piano together. The lessons take place in a pleasant room where her grand piano stands by the window. With tea or coffee on the side, the half hour flies by! The balance between lessons and personal chats… we have to stay sharp about that. After about 15 years of lessons, I am still enthusiastic!

I have been taking lessons with Noor for more than 10 years. Her relaxed way of teaching makes it enjoyable to continue the lessons. Her enthusiasm and the variety of music styles make it fun even after such a long time.

I have been taking lessons with Noor for 8 years now and really appreciate her attention to your individual development. She is always there if you just want to talk for a bit, and you can ask her even the most unusual questions about music history or theory. She also encourages me to bring pieces that I would like to play. This way we build a beautiful and broad repertoire together. In these 8 years there have also been periods when I enjoyed piano a little less and spent less time on it. When I told her this, she immediately understood and we looked for good ways to take it easy and rediscover the joy. This personal approach makes me look forward to visiting her every week.

I really enjoy piano lessons with Noor. They are fun and gezellig (cozy). She teaches very well and always explains the notes in an easy way. Noor also chooses beautiful pieces from the book that I enjoy playing. I always like coming to the lesson!

Our two daughters attend Juf Noor’s piano lessons.  Noor is more than just a piano teacher! She tunes herself to accommodate our girls and make them feel at ease. She also customises the choice of piano pieces to let our girls explore music genres and styles. We highly recommend Noor ! 

You get private lessons, so you receive full attention. It’s very cozy at her place. She is not strict, but you still learn a lot.

You can learn to play the piano very well there. You can quickly learn very long songs. Noor is just very sweet.

Our third child is now also taking lessons with Noor. They enjoy going every week because the atmosphere is always positive. Noor is interested in how her students are doing; the lesson starts with a moment to settle in and connect, and then you get to work together. Through what they learn from Noor, they experience the magic of making music themselves… and when things are a bit difficult in their world, I see them go to the piano at home to find themselves again.
